Every treatment begins with an in-depth colour consultation, where we carefully select and customise pigments to complement your skin tone, undertone and desired result. Precision lip mapping follows, allowing us to refine symmetry, enhance your natural lip contours and create a beautifully balanced shape without adding artificial volume.
Using a gentle layering technique, pigment is softly implanted into the lips to create a sheer, natural-looking finish that heals into a subtle pop of colour. Your treatment also includes Healite II LED light therapy to support the skin’s natural healing process and post-treatment recovery.

Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that uses a specialised machine and fine needle to gently implant pigment into the lips, enhancing their natural colour, shape and definition.
First, we apply a specialised numbing cream to your lips for 15-20 minutes. Next, we draw the shape of your “new” lips, allowing you to review and make any changes. We also provide pigment colour recommendations, showing you how they will look immediately and how they’ll fade over time.
We use a cosmetic tattoo gun on a gentle setting to apply your chosen pigment to your lips. The entire treatment takes around 2 hours to complete, and we apply a secondary numbing cream for your maximum comfort.
During the healing stage, the lip blush tattoo fades between 30-50%, leaving behind a natural wash of colour and a beautiful, full shape. A natural lip blushing tattoo typically lasts from 1-3 years.
After the treatment, we guide you through the aftercare process in detail. We recommend yearly touch-ups to prevent natural fading, and our overall cost includes a touch-up later on.

Using naturally toned pigments to blend and shade within the natural lip and lip line, lip blush tattooing will create the illusion of fuller and more even lips.
There is mild swelling for the first 24-48 hours after your lip blushing treatment. We recommend you anticipate this when considering social plans. After your lip blush treatment, be prepared that your lips will be slightly bold. Don’t stress though – the colour will fade by between 30-50%.
Moisturise your lips and stay hydrated a few days prior to your appointment. 24 hours prior to your lip blush appointment, exfoliate your lips.
Immediately after your treatment, your lips will appear brighter and more saturated than the final healed result. Mild swelling, tenderness and dryness are normal during the first few days.
Over the following 3–7 days, your lips may feel dry and begin to lightly flake as the skin heals. It’s important to avoid picking or peeling and to follow the aftercare instructions provided.
As healing progresses, the colour will soften and may temporarily appear uneven or lighter before settling. The final colour typically develops over 4–6 weeks, revealing a softer, more natural-looking finish.
A perfecting appointment may be recommended after healing to refine colour, symmetry and definition where needed.
Day 1: After treatment, your lips may present mild swelling and appear bright and bold.
Day 2: Mild swelling (if present) begins to dissipate. Lip colour is still quite bold – the same coverage as a sheer lipstick.
Day 3-5: Lips have almost completed initial healing. Mild flaking and dryness will have finished by now. Colour may appear uneven or darker / lighter in some areas.
Day 10-50: Lip colour begins to even out. Facing occurs during this stage of healing. Colour MAY seem to fade more than desired or take on a slightly different tone than desired. At the 2 week mark, you’ll notice the true colour start to appear.
Day 35-40: Colour has settled into the desired look.
Day 50+: Your lips are now healed and ready for your touch up. This is when we make slight adjustments, where needed.
Cold Sores: If you have a history of cold sores, please consult your health care provider for an anti-viral.
Pregnant: Lip blush is not suitable for women who are trying to conceive.
Breastfeeding: Lip blush is not suitable for women who are breastfeeding.
Blood Clot History: People with a history of blood clots are not suited to lip blush tattoo treatments.
Lip Filler: Please wait 4 weeks after lip filler if you want to get a cosmetic lip blush tattoo treatment. If you want to get lip filler after receiving a lip blush treatment, please wait 2 weeks.
Cosmetic and Chemical Facials: Wait at least one week pre and post cosmetic and chemical facials for lip blush tattooing.
